It forms a replaceable contact surface in the feed carrier assembly, supporting sliding movement while protecting the main structure from direct wear.

Manufactured for flatness, dimensional accuracy and resistance to abrasion, the liner helps distribute contact loads and maintain correct guide geometry. Replacing a worn liner can restore smoother carrier travel, reduce play and extend the service life of adjoining feed components.
